Best for
This hotel suits budget-conscious travelers needing an extended stay near Atlanta, thanks to its kitchenette-equipped suites, on-site laundry, and pet-friendly policy. It also works for those relying on public transit, given the roughly 6-minute walk to a MARTA station and proximity to grocery and convenience shopping. It is less suited to travelers seeking polished, resort-style amenities or guaranteed pool/gym access.
Travel tips
Use the nearby MARTA station (about a 6-minute walk) to reach downtown Atlanta attractions like the Georgia Aquarium and Centennial Olympic Park without driving. Stock up on basic supplies (toiletries, cleaning wipes, kitchenware) at the nearby Walgreens or Kroger, as some guests note the hotel provides only minimal in-room toiletries and cookware may need to be purchased or brought. Confirm seasonal amenities like the outdoor pool and any fitness facilities directly with the property before booking, since availability has varied by season and reported inconsistently by recent guests.
What guests say
Guest feedback frequently praises the friendliness and helpfulness of front-desk staff, with several reviewers naming specific employees for their service. Recurring negative themes include cleanliness concerns such as roach and water bug sightings, stained tubs, hair on linens, and general wear in common areas like lobby tile and hallway carpet. Noise from a nearby busy street and active train tracks, along with a noisy AC unit, is another common complaint. Breakfast is described as minimal (coffee, muffins, and bars), and some guests reported reduced amenities, with the gym and pool unavailable during their stay despite being advertised.
