Overview
This is a two-bedroom mountain cabin in Arrowhead Villas, a quiet neighborhood in Lake Arrowhead within the San Bernardino Mountains. It's decorated with wood panel walls, open beam ceilings, and a snow/fishing theme that leans into a genuine mountain-cabin feel. With a neighbor on only one side, the cabin enjoys forest views from every room, and a ravine behind the property becomes a babbling brook as snow melts, drawing deer and birdlife.
Rooms & Sleeping Space
The cabin has two bedrooms and sleeps 5-6: one with a California King and one with a Queen, plus a large sofa in the living room that sleeps 1-2 more (and floor space for sleeping bags, not provided). There's a full bathroom downstairs with a bathtub, plus an additional half bathroom upstairs. Renters must be at least 25 years old and are required to submit a copy of ID after booking.
Kitchen & Dining
The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, bakeware, cooking utensils, mixing bowls, dishes, and flatware, along with a toaster oven, coffee pot, Crockpot, and electric hand mixer. A long bar and a dining table that seats 6 (extendable with two leaves) make it easy to cook and eat as a group, and an outdoor grill and patio add options for meals outside.
Amenities
Guests get free, fast Wi-Fi throughout, a wifi-enabled flat-screen TV in the living room (plus one in a bedroom) that connects to personal streaming accounts, and a small DVD collection including Disney classics. A washer and dryer are on-site upstairs, and the living room fireplace is a highlight, especially memorable to guests during snowy stays. The property is smoke-free and includes heating, a crib, and an ironing board for practical stays.
Parking & Location
The large lot has asphalt parking for up to four vehicles, and the cabin sits on the very first street plowed when it snows, plus it's the first cabin encountered entering Arrowhead Villas -- making it easy to find and access even in poor driving conditions. It's just a couple of miles from Lake Arrowhead itself, and nearby attractions include Lake Arrowhead Repertory Theatre Company, Yaamava' Theater, SkyPark at Santa's Village, Snow Valley Mountain Resort, and Lake Gregory for fishing (note: this property does not include Lake Arrowhead lake rights).
Best for
This cabin suits families or small groups seeking a genuine mountain getaway, thanks to its two bedrooms, sofa sleeper space for up to 6, full kitchen, and washer/dryer for extended stays. It's also a strong fit for couples celebrating occasions who want a quiet, forest-view retreat close to Lake Arrowhead's dining and activities. The reliable parking for four vehicles and easy, first-in-the-neighborhood access make it convenient for anyone driving up in winter conditions.
Travel tips
Because the cabin sits on the first street plowed after snowfall and is the first property entering Arrowhead Villas, it remains accessible even during heavy snow when other roads may be closed. Bring your own streaming login if you want to use the wifi-enabled TVs, since no cable or streaming subscriptions are provided. Lake Arrowhead is only a couple of miles away for dining and lake activities, and Lake Gregory nearby offers fishing since this cabin does not include Lake Arrowhead lake rights.
