Nearby Looe Key offers some of the best snorkeling, diving, and fishing in the Keys, while the Cudjoe Garden Marina provides boat rentals and guided fishing, snorkel, and dive trips. Bahia Honda State Park, the Dolphin Research Center, and an 18-hole mini golf course at Boonedocks Grille Restaurant are all within easy driving distance, and Key West International Airport is about 29 kilometers away.
Best for
This home is best suited to families and groups of friends seeking a self-contained, resort-like base with a heated pool, private dock, and beach access all on one property. Boating and fishing enthusiasts benefit especially from the private marina and fish cleaning station, while the two master suites and multiple TVs make it comfortable for two couples or a multi-generational family sharing the space.
Travel tips
Book boat dock space early since it's first-come, first-served with a one-boat-per-home limit, and note the marina only accommodates boats up to 25 feet. A rental car is practical for reaching Key West (about 17 miles) or Marathon (about 25 miles), though several bus stops near Coco's Cantina and the Sheriff Sub Station are within a short walk for local trips. Plan a day for Looe Key snorkeling or diving and consider renting gear through nearby Cudjoe Garden Marina rather than bringing your own.
