Guest rating: 3.0 / 5
Overview
Cozy ATL Retreat is a self-catering apartment-style property set in North Decatur, near Atlanta. The air-conditioned, non-smoking unit is built around a private outdoor pool and offers a relaxed, home-like base rather than a traditional full-service hotel.
Rooms
The apartment comprises one bedroom, one bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen, making it suited to travelers who want to cook their own meals. In-room comforts include a flat-screen TV with cable, air conditioning and heating, an ironing board, and access to a private balcony.
Amenities & Recreation
Guests have use of an outdoor pool and an on-site fitness center, along with a washer for laundry during longer stays. Free WiFi, free private parking, and smoke-free interiors round out the practical amenities on offer.
Location
The property sits roughly 3.6 km from the Bradley Observatory, 6.7 km from Marta-Indian Creek Station, and about 11 km from the Atlanta Botanical Garden. Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport is approximately 26 km away, making a car or rideshare the most practical way to reach downtown Atlanta attractions.
Best for
This retreat suits self-sufficient travelers, couples, or small groups who want a private, home-like stay with a full kitchen, private pool, and balcony rather than hotel-style services. It's also a good fit for longer stays thanks to the in-unit washer, free parking, and free WiFi, and for those wanting easy access to Marta-Indian Creek Station and the Bradley Observatory area.
Travel tips
Since the property is a standalone apartment outside central Atlanta, having a car or rideshare access is recommended for reaching the airport (about 26 km away) and attractions like the Atlanta Botanical Garden (11 km). Marta-Indian Creek Station, roughly 6.7 km away, offers a rail option into the city if you prefer to limit driving. Take advantage of the on-site kitchen and free parking to cut down on dining and transport costs during your stay.
What guests say
Cozy ATL Retreat holds a modest 3-out-of-5 rating based on just two reviews, which limits the ability to draw strong conclusions about recurring guest sentiment.
