"ILE Sapphire" is a newly constructed (2022) smart home rental in Chicago's historic Bronzeville neighborhood, about 10 minutes from downtown. Spanning 1,500 sq ft with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, the property offers a full private home experience rather than standard hotel rooms, including access to a front yard, private backyard, and an exclusive parking pad for up to 2.5 cars. Smart-home controls (lights, thermostat, front door, shades, television) can optionally be operated via Apple HomePod voice commands.

Access instructions are texted 24 hours before arrival, granting guests use of the entire home plus the private front and back yards. The exterior is monitored by 4 cameras (two continuously recording, two motion-activated) and a Ring doorbell, none with interior views, along with an interior sound-level monitor (Minut) that measures noise decibels only, without recording audio content.
